Chamber Board
Responsible for participating in Chamber events, assisting with
projects, managing the financial resources of the Chamber and oversee
operations. Our Directors are responsible to
recruit members, field complaints or suggestions and inform the
community about Chamber activities. The board meets every other s Thursday
of each month at 7:15AM. Contact the Chamber Manager for the location.
Agri-Business Committee
The Ag committee develops a closer contact
with the agricultural and retail sector of our community and to
actively promote the Ag products of our area. Responsible for reprint
of Ag maps, set up crop identification signs, Promote ag processing in
the valley, and work with CSU Extension service during Southern Rocky
Mountain Agricultural Conference & Trade Fair. Contact the Chamber Manager for meeting locations and times.
Monte Vista Conquistadors
The conquistadors are the ambassadors of goodwill for Monte Vista Chamber of Commerce. They are a separate organization within the Chamber, paying separate dues and abiding by separate bylaws. You must be a Chamber member to be eligible for this committee. They are responsible for greeting new business owners and managers, presenting the First Dollar of Clear Profit, conduct visitations and help Chamber with projects and events as needed. They also host the Teacher's Tea, Senior Appreciation Day and a bowling tournament. This group meets at noon the first Thursday of the month at Nino's.
